Street Photography
To improve my skills within telling stories through photography I challenged myself to make a series with no people in it. This resulted in my first series, 'Rainy Night'.
The series captures the lively feelings I get whenever I walk past the lights in the city centre of Leeuwarden at night.
To challenge myself even further, I made a second series, '5:30 AM'. In contrast with the first one, this one was taken in the early morning, a time of day which I usually spend in my bed instead of outside.
Being in the empty, quiet streets pulled my focus to a lot of things I never noticed before, specifically wild plants and an ATM-machine which I was not aware of. The beauty of the city still waking up would almost make me wanna wake up early more often too. Almost.
